In 2011 Chris and his wife Carrie auditioned for Channel Nine's series "The Block". They were successful and made it all the way to the top 8 couples before being eliminated by Rod and Tania. 

On the last room challenge for the competition, Rod and Tania hired Chris and his company Geronimo Landscapes & Maintenance to help them with their outdoor area. Working around the clock and in the wettest conditions they managed to pull off the winning outdoor area for that week.
